The commission

Douro Valley Tours may earn a commission when you book through a link on this site, at no extra cost to you. The price you pay is set by the tour operator and is the same whether you arrive through these pages or go direct.

Who we are not

We are not the tour operators, not a ticketing authority, and not connected to any quinta, the IVDP or the Museu do Douro. We do not take bookings, hold money or issue refunds. Operators cannot pay for placement, position or a badge on these pages.

Where the tour data comes from

Prices, ratings, review counts, durations, group sizes and inclusion lists are the operators' own, captured from their live listings on Viator and GetYourGuide on 2026-09-03 and refreshed periodically. They change without notice, and the figure on the booking page is always the one that counts.

Where the facts come from

Hours, admission prices, distances and the region's own figures come from official sources — UNESCO, the IVDP, APDL, the Museu do Douro and Infraestruturas de Portugal — and are cited on the pages that use them.
